Mr Matthew Battrick - Non-Executive Director

Matthew Battrick is a graduate of the Royal Melbourne University of Technology (RMIT) and has over 36 years of international E&P exploration and development geoscience technical and management experience.His career included local and international assignments with both major and large independent oil and gas companies (LASMO, Ampolex, ExxonMobil & Eni) before joining Pancontinental Oil & Gas NL (ASX:PCL) in 2004 as Exploration Manager, then General Manager. Matthew was appointed as Managing Director (MD) and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Sun Resources NL (ASX:SUR) in January 2008 and served in a number of executive roles through to November 2016. He is currently the principal consultant of Battrick Oil & Gas Australia Ltd (BOGAL), providing strategic advice to the small-cap oil and gas sector.
Matthew is a Member of the Petroleum Exploration Society of Australia and has been a member of the American Association of Petroleum Geologists for 37 years. He has written or co-authored technical papers that have been published in PESA, Geol. Soc. UK, APPEA and AAPG journals and/or conference proceedings and he qualifies as a Competent Person under ASX oil & gas resource reporting guidelines. He is an active member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (GAICD) and he is currently an independent alternate director for MEC Resources (ASX:MMR). Matthew was a director of the Activ Foundation (Inc.), a Western Australian-based, non-government organisation for people with intellectual disabilities from 2001 to 2011 and he is currently serving as a Councillor for Activ.
Mr Craig Hall - Non-Executive Director
Mr Hall is an experienced geologist with over 30 years of mineral industry experience in exploration, development and production roles in a range of commodities, principally precious and base minerals. He has held a variety of senior positions with mid-tier and junior sector resource companies within Australia and overseas.
